Welcome

Our project was begun in May of 2005. It utilizes trap/neuter/return and manage (TNR) as a strategy to reduce the numbers of homeless cats in the City of Kerrville and County of Kerr in Texas.

Alley Cat Allies, a national advocacy organization for wild cats (www.alleycat.org) has promoted TNR as the most humane and effective approach to permanently reduce the overabundance of feral (wild, unsocialized) and homeless cats across the country. Forty states have one or more TNR programs, usually implemented by non-profit groups.  Here are some of their websites, and other websites, that address the TNR process:
